Ides of March Playing this Summer

One of my all-time favorite rock bands is the Ides of March led by America's version of Paul McCartney, Mr. Jim Peterik. Songs written by Jim for other bands, as well as the Ides, are a normal part of their repertoire. Eye of the Tiger, a powerful motivational song that helped Rocky get through another film, is played in a 2012 version by the Ides that surpasses the old Survivor version, as well as the Search is Over and High on You. They also do Peterik songs that were hits for 38 Special. Here's a Chicago horn-rock band that is better than Chicago's more notorious horn-rock band, Chicago featuring Robert Lamm.

I liked the promo video they made recently and included it here. Check them out at their site and try to catch them live if you can. The Ides of March is one great local band that's been around for over 40 years.

Circus Clowns Who Rock (Out of the Grave!)

Found this rockin' yet frightening song called Circus clowns from the Grave. Clowns can be very funny or very frightening. Dead clowns from the grave are definitely not funny.I like the combination of a techno-beat with rock and an overlay of horror themes.
